The network promotes science and research, professional exchange and cooperation in the field of futurology in German-speaking countries. It is a non-profit association and currently has around 85 members

The Netzwerk Zukunftsforschung is open to all who are interested in future-oriented research. A comprehensible claim, a corresponding research interest as well as the acceptance of the mission statement and statutes are the requirements for membership in the network. The most important body of the network is the general meeting, which takes place at least once a year. For the coordination of the network activities, the general meeting elects a steering and decision board for two years at a time. Further information
