Modern societies shaped by dynamic developments are characterized by a considerable need for future-related knowledge. The Netzwerk Zukunftsforschung sees itself as a meeting place for people working at universities, non-university institutions, socio-political organisations and in the private sector to meet this need.
The content-related work of the Netzwerk Zukunftsforschung takes place largely in thematically oriented working groups. The Netzwerk Zukunftsforschung and the working groups are aimed at academics, practitioners and are open to anyone who wishes to engage scientifically with future-oriented research. Members of the network are free to establish such working groups. The procedure for doing so can be found in the working group guidelines.
