From September 26 to October 9, fictional visions of the future from the science fiction genre were juxtaposed with scientific findings in numerous events. Climate. Changes. was the common theme of all festival contributions to Science meets Fiction 2022. This was to focus on the climate crisis, the biggest global challenge of the already very near future. But the festival also addressed changes in the political and social climate; after all, it’s not just temperatures that are rising.
