DESCRIPTION:During the WFSF World Conference in 2022\, some of our members took the chance to explore the re:future lab in Berlin\, with exciting insights and in-depth discussions. Therefore\, we are now happy to make a recommendation here for the re:future lab’s immersive symposium fusing art\, sciences\, technology and futurology to facilitate positive futures scenarios. \nHOLITOPIA is an annual symposium to explore alternative futures and open the vast fields of human fantasy. It has been tailored for innovative businesses\, futurologists\, strategists\, facilitators\, applied scientists\, creative and cultural practitioners\, as well as to curious minds beyond all disciplines. \nIf you are a change enthusiast\, HOLITOPIA is for you. \nThe experience. 10 top-notch artists and experts (urbanists\, anthropologists\, economists\, system designers\, architects\, philosophers\, nature scientists\, and a composer) in one place at one time will share their ideas\, visions and expertise—unfiltered. \nOnce you enter the space\, the story has already begun. \nForget about the typical gap between stage and audience. This is a forum to re-think\, co-create and dream. A set of undisciplinary discursive formats\, art performances\, interactive experiments and unpredictable interventions\, will be presented to you in an immersive setting. This is a chance to experience art as an equally valuable form of knowledge transfer. DESCRIPTION:The first highlight of the day will be a short presentation on the Hope Barometer by Andreas M. Krafft\, with a short initial survey round and following discussion. You can find more information about this here. \nAs usual\, this will be followed by the Board’s reports\, the vote on the discharge of the Executive Board and Supervisory Board and\, after the lunch break\, the reports from our network. \nThe second highlight of the day will be the presentation of our network’s young talent award to Louisa Kastner for her outstanding work entitled “Reframed Futures als kontrafaktischer Kontext transformativen Lernens”\, with a presentation and discussion. \nWe look forward to seeing you again – albeit virtually – and hope for lively participation and future-oriented discussions.
